For the week of February 17th, we have some incredible releases making their way to our shelves. Read on to get a brief overview of what you should have on your wishlist, then be sure to dive into the full rundown in the video below.
This week, we explore films fresh from theaters, iconic classics upgraded to 4K UHD, plus an exciting slate of gems from Kino Lorber. First up, 20th Century Studios has the latest sci-fi action franchise entry, Predator: Badlands, on 4K UHD Blu-Ray with Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos audio. The release comes with a commentary track, deleted scenes, featurettes, and more. Lionsgate has the magic heist film Now You See Me: Now You Don’t starring Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson, Dave Franco, and Isla Fisher on 4K UHD Blu-Ray in Dolby Vision with Dolby Atmos. The release comes with a commentary track, featurettes, deleted scenes, and more.
The 4K UHD fun continues at Universal with the newest entry in the horror franchise, Five Nights at Freddy’s 2, arriving on 4K UHD Blu-Ray in Dolby Vision with Dolby Atmos audio and a selection of featurettes. They also have the Blu-Ray debut of Song Sung Blue starring Hugh Jackman and Oscar-nominee Kate Hudson, which tells the story of a real-life Neil Diamond tribute band. The release comes with a commentary track, featurettes, and extended performances. Searchlight Pictures stays in the dramatic space with the touching Brendan Fraser drama Rental Family on Blu-Ray with a making-of featurette and deleted scenes.
The heroes at Warner Bros. have a pair of iconic titles getting a 4K UHD Blu-Ray upgrade this week. First, we have the Oscar-winning journalism drama All the President’s Men starring Robert Redford and Dustin Hoffman remastered in 4K and presented in Dolby Vision with the original audio. The release comes with a pair of new retrospective featurettes plus an array of archival featurettes. We also have the Best Picture-winning biblical epic Ben-Hur starring Charlton Heston remastered from an 8K scan with Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos audio, and original audio options. The release comes with a commentary track, new featurettes, archival documentaries, and more.

The folks at Kino Lorber Studio Classics have a slew of 4K UHD Blu-Ray releases to admire. Charles Bronson takes on one of his most iconic roles in The Mechanic with a 4K scan of the 35mm Original Camera Negative in Dolby Vision. The release comes with three commentary tracks and some interviews. We stay in the crime realm with a trio of Agatha Christie adaptations. Hercule Poirot, as portrayed by Peter Ustinov, is on the case in Death on the Nile and Evil Under the Sun, while Angela Lansbury appears as the legendary Miss Marple in The Mirror Crack’d. These three star-studded mysteries have received 4K scans of the 35mm Original Camera Negative in Dolby Vision.
The 4K UHD upgrades continue as the legendary Rolling Stones concert film Let’s Spend the Night Together from director Hal Ashby has been given a 4K scan of the 35mm Original Camera Negative in SDR and two commentary tracks. The French cult favorite crime film Diva has been upgraded with a 4K scan of the 35mm Original Camera Negative in Dolby Vision. The release includes two commentary tracks and numerous interviews. The Pierce Brosnan disaster film Dante’s Peak makes its 4K UHD debut with a 4K scan of the 35mm Original Camera Negative in Dolby Vision with Dolby Atmos audio. The release comes with a commentary track and a making-of featurette.
Blu-Ray fans can also celebrate with some upgrades, including the Sydney Pollack remake of Sabrina with Harrison Ford, Julia Ormond, and Greg Kinnear. The new release is derived from a 4K scan of the Original Camera Negative and includes a commentary track. We also have a double dose of Jeff Bridges with the domestic Blu-Ray debuts of K-PAX and The Door in the Floor. Both releases include commentary tracks and featurettes.
