Stacks of DVD and Blu-ray cases against a teal background, featuring various titles including "Constantine," "Ghost Cat," "The Terminal Man," and "Supernatural Shockers.

We at GVN aim to keep you informed of the newest and best in the world of physical media. Over on our YouTube Channel, you can find us talking about everything you need to know on No Streaming Required, our weekly guide to all the latest 4K UHD, Blu-Ray, and DVD releases.

For the week of February 18th, we have some incredible releases making their way to our shelves. Read on to get a brief overview of what you should have on your wishlist, then be sure to dive into the full rundown in the video below.

This week we spotlight the 4K UHD Blu-Ray debut of the David Fincher home invasion thriller Panic Room from Sony. The film starring Jodie Foster, Forest Whitaker, Dwight Yoakam, Jared Leto, and Kristen Stewart comes with Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos audio along with an avalanche of archival featurettes, deleted scenes, and more all in a SteelBook package.

We have another highly-anticipated 4K UHD Blu-Ray debut from Warner Bros. with the live-action adaptation of Constantine starring Keanu Reeves. The film co-starring Rachel Weisz, Shia LaBeouf, Tilda Swinton, and Djimon Hounsou has been remastered in Dolby Vision from the Original Camera Negative with a new Dolby Atmos track and a new retrospective on the film.

Paramount has the Oscar-nominated historical thriller September 5 starring Peter Sarsgaard and John Magaro arriving on Blu-Ray just in time to get caught up for the upcoming Academy Awards. GKIDS debuts the new whimsical anime feature Ghost Cat Anzu from Yōko Kuno and Nobuhiro Yamashita on Blu-Ray with an array of trailers from around the globe.

The fine folks at Shout! Studios and Scream Factory have some great recent releases in the limelight. First, we have the beloved sketch series The Whitest Kids U’ Know: The Complete Series hitting DVD featuring all 50 episodes and an array of bonus features on 10 discs. There is also the box set Golden Harvest: Vol 1 – Supernatural Shockers including six of the steamiest, most outrageous films you’ve ever seen (including several infamous “Category III” – adults only – classics). The release features numerous new commentary tracks, interviews, and more.

Also from the label is a trio of 4K UHD Blu-Ray upgrades. The Faculty arrives with a new 4K restoration of the Original Camera Negative with Dolby Vision approved by director Robert Rodriguez along with a pair of new interviews. The underwater cave survival thriller Sanctum from producer James Cameron comes with a 4K presentation of the original elements plus new and archival commentary tracks, historical featurettes, and more. Finally, there is the biographical drama Dragon: The Bruce Lee Story newly restored in 4K from the Original Camera Negative with all of the previously available supplements.

A woman screams while being embraced by a swamp creature inside a room engulfed in flames.

It is a big week for horror thanks to our friends at Severin Films. The new box set Fear in the Philippines: The Complete Blood Island Films arrives with a two-disc set of all four Blood Island films scanned uncut in 4K with improved color and audio plus over eight combined hours of special features. Terror Is A Man, Brides of Blood, Mad Doctor of Blood Island, and Beast of Blood come with commentary tracks, interviews, and more.

This is only a taste of what you can discover on No Streaming Required this week, so be sure to check out the full video below.
