Blu-rays of "Tom and Jerry," "The Nice Guys," "Billy Budd," "Ride the High Country," "The Naked and the Dead," "Heaven Can Wait," "Brigadoon," "41st Street," "Designing Woman," "Jumbo," "The Prize," and "Amadeus.

We at GVN aim to keep you informed of the newest and best in the world of physical media. Over on our YouTube Channel, you can find us talking about everything you need to know on No Streaming Required, our weekly guide to all the latest 4K UHD, Blu-Ray, and DVD releases.

For the week of February 25th, we have some incredible releases making their way to our shelves. Read on to get a brief overview of what you should have on your wishlist, then be sure to dive into the full rundown in the video below.

This week we explore exciting new releases and overlooked older gems from Warner Bros. and the Warner Archive. First up we have a big win for fans of animation. After years without new Blu-Ray collections for the iconic duo, audiences can now pick up Tom & Jerry: The Complete Cinemascope Cartoon Collection. The Blu-Ray release comes with 23 shorts in the classic Cinemascope process plus three additional shorts.

Warner Bros. also has a pair of new 4K UHD Blu-Ray releases to be excited about. The hotly-anticipated Milos Forman drama Amadeus arrives with its theatrical cut newly restored from the reconstructed Original Camera Negative in HDR10. The Best Picture winner has been provided with a new retrospective featurette featuring insights from actors F. Murray Abraham, Tom Hulce and more. They also have the Russell Crowe and Ryan Gosling neo-noir buddy comedy The Nice Guys debuting on 4K UHD Blu-Ray with Dolby Vision.

Fans of war pictures will want to pay attention to some of the older releases in the spotlight. Frank Sinatra makes his directorial debut with the humanist World War II drama None But The Brave. Norman Mailer’s classic WWII novel The Naked and The Dead jumps to the big screen courtesy of director Raoul Walsh. You even have a throwback naval drama with Billy Budd which includes the film debut of Terence Stamp.

Fans of musicals are likewise sitting pretty with this latest batch. Doris Day joins the circus as we go back over a decade to check out Billy Rose’s Jumbo on Blu-Ray. They also have the 1933 exploration of Broadway musicals with 42nd Street. There is a double dose of Gene Kelly and Cyd Charisse in Brigadoon and It’s Always Fair Weather.

This is only a taste of what you can discover on No Streaming Required this week, so be sure to check out the full video below.
