A stack of DVD and Blu-ray cases, including titles like "Billy Madison," "Shane," "Manifest," and "Bewitched: The Complete Series," arranged upright against a teal background.

We at GVN aim to keep you informed of the newest and best in the world of physical media. Over on our YouTube Channel, you can find us talking about everything you need to know on No Streaming Required, our weekly guide to all the latest 4K UHD, Blu-Ray, and DVD releases.

For the week of July 29th, we have some incredible releases making their way to our shelves. Read on to get a brief overview of what you should have on your wishlist, then be sure to dive into the full rundown in the video below.

This week, we explore an iconic series, box office hits fresh from theaters, and some exciting new releases from Kino Lorber Studio Classics. First, we have the critical and financial hit Sinners from director Ryan Coogler on 4K UHD Blu-Ray with Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos audio from Warner Bros. The horror film comes with a making-of documentary, featurettes, and deleted scenes. The studio has another horror hit with Final Destination Bloodlines on 4K UHD Blu-Ray with Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos audio. The release comes with a commentary track and featurettes.

On the television front, we have the classic sitcom Bewitched: The Complete Series on Blu-Ray courtesy of Mill Creek Entertainment. The release contains all eight seasons and 254 episodes of the series in a 16×9 aspect ratio from remasters conducted by Sony. Special features include 16 audio commentaries and a new mini-documentary.

Kino is continuing a year of amazing 4K UHD releases. Fans of ’90s cinema have a lot to celebrate with the 4K UHD debut of the Adam Sandler comedy classic Billy Madison. The release comes with a 4K scan of the Original 35mm Camera Negative in Dolby Vision, two commentary tracks, deleted scenes, and more. We also have the Quentin Tarantino-produced dark comedy Curdled starring Angela Jones and William Baldwin. The release is derived from a 4K Scan of the 35mm Original Camera Negative in Dolby Vision with three commentary tracks, interviews, short films, and deleted scenes. Things get a bit more serious as we wade into arthouse territory with Bernardo Bertolucci’s spiritual drama Little Buddha. The film starring Keanu Reeves, Chris Isaak, and Bridget Fonda arrives with the International Cut on 4K UHD Blu-Ray from a 4K master from TF1 in Dolby Vision with a commentary track, featurettes, and more.

A man wearing a red shirt sits at a classroom desk among young children, all facing forward and appearing to listen or read.

Going to the horror space, we have the slasher film Silent Scream released on 4K UHD Blu-Ray with a 4K scan of the Original Camera Negative in HDR10, two commentary tracks, and featurettes. Horror master Mario Bava tackles something a bit more lighthearted and campy with Danger: Diabolik on 4K UHD Blu-Ray from a 4K scan of the 35mm Original Camera Negative in Dolby Vision. The release comes with two commentary tracks, an alternate outro, and featurettes. The comic character is also brought to life in a trio of modern movies with the Diabolik Trilogy on Blu-Ray from the Manetti Bros.

If you are in the mood for an ’80s comedy, the Jon Cryer film Hiding Out debuts on 4K UHD Blu-Ray from a 4K scan of the 35mm Original Camera Negative in SDR in collaboration with StudioCanal. The release comes with three commentary tracks and two new interviews. The western classic Shane starring Alan Ladd, Jean Arthur, and Van Heflin debuts on 4K UHD Blu-Ray from a 4K scan of the 35mm Original Camera Negative in Dolby Vision with two commentary tracks.

This is only a taste of what you can discover on No Streaming Required this week, so be sure to check out the full video below.
