A Quiet Place was praised for its originality and execution of a damn fine horror movie in 2018. The John Krasinski directed film was nominated for several awards and lead actress Emily Blunt won a SAG for her role in the film. Part II released a recent teaser trailer, which has all of us fans excited for the next installment. An official synopsis was also released by Paramount:
Following the deadly events at home, the Abbott family (Emily Blunt, Millicent Simmonds, Noah Jupe) must now face the terrors of the outside world as they continue their fight for survival in silence. Forced to venture into the unknown, they quickly realize that the creatures that hunt by sound are not the only threats that lurk beyond the sand path.
The official trailer for A Quiet Place Part II will be released on New Year’s Day and the film will hit theaters on March 20, 2020. Part II stars Emily Blunt, Cillian Murphy, Millicent Simmonds, Noah Jupe, Djimon Hounsou, and Krasinski returns as the director.
