In a recent interview, the actress revealed the reason why she did not appear in the upcoming Fox mutant film, which may very well be its last:
“I was filming ‘Predator’ at the time so there wasn’t time for me to film it and so I’m not in it. I will tell you guys.”
Dark Phoenix will hit theaters June 7th and it details a classic storyline in the X-Men comics, where Jean Grey becomes the dark version of herself – Dark Phoenix. This will probably be the last film under the Fox brand, as New Mutants is seemingly in limbo and may actually just be released on Hulu instead.
Are you looking forward to Dark Phoenix and are you disappointed Munn won’t be involved?
