Pamela Anderson opened up about an uncomfortable encounter at the 83rd Annual Golden Globes on January 11, 2026, where she found herself in close proximity to Seth Rogen, the producer and star of the 2022 Hulu series Pam & Tommy. The limited series, which dramatized the 1995 scandal involving Anderson’s stolen sex tape with ex-husband Tommy Lee, has long been a source of pain for the actress, who has repeatedly stated that it was made without her permission or input.
In a candid interview on Andy Cohen’s SiriusXM show Radio Andy (excerpts aired January 15, 2026, with the full episode scheduled for January 20), the 58-year-old Naked Gun star described her reaction to seeing Rogen seated nearby in the audience “pit.”
She recalled feeling uneasy, saying:
“Seth Rogen, he did that [series] without talking to me, you know Pam & Tommy, and… I just felt like, ‘Eh.’ You know? Like how can someone make a TV series out of the difficult times in your life, and ‘I’m a living, breathing human being over here. Hello.’”
When Cohen asked if she had run into him, Anderson confirmed:
“He was in the pit at the Golden Globes so we were close.”
She added that the situation made her feel “weird” and “a little yucky,” describing it as unsettling. The proximity contributed to her decision to leave shortly after presenting the award for Best Actress in a Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy to Rose Byrne (alongside Miley Cyrus).
“I left after my award and I went right to bed,” she explained
Anderson has previously shared in her Netflix documentary Pamela, A Love Story that producers, including Rogen, “should have had my permission” because “nobody really knows what we were going through at the time.” She reiterated that the series depicted “the worst time” in her life and “p—ed me off a little bit.”
Despite the lingering discomfort, Anderson noted she has been busy with work — including five movies in the past year — and expressed a faint hope for resolution:
“It just felt like a little yucky. But eventually, hopefully he will, maybe he’ll reach out to me and apologize. Not that that matters.”
Seth Rogen, 43, was at the event celebrating his own success, taking home the Golden Globe for Best Performance by a Male Actor in a Television Series – Musical or Comedy for The Studio.
The awkward moment at the Globes highlights ongoing tensions surrounding biographical projects about living figures without their involvement. Anderson emphasized that while public figures may be “fair game” in some ways, their “darkest, deepest secrets or tragedies” shouldn’t be fodder for entertainment without consent.
As of now, Rogen has not publicly responded to Anderson’s latest comments. The full interview on SiriusXM promises more insights into her perspective.
