Paramount+ Is Eyeing To Revive The Hit TV Series ‘FRASIER’

Frasier is one of the defining sitcoms of all time, combining witty dialogue with all-star performances. And, it seems that after years of whispered rumors that the iconic sitcom, which earned 37 Emmys over its 11 season run, may finally be returning with Kelsey Grammer stepping back into the role of the shrink from Seattle, Dr. Frasier Crane.

The revival has been discussed since 2018, but Kelsey Grammer stressed:

We have to make sure it’s going to be a great show… if it’s not a great show, and if we don’t hear a pitch that hits it out of the park, it probably won’t happen”

It is unknown yet if co-stars David Hyde Pierce, Jane Leeves, and Peri Gilpin will return but if the show is greenlit then their reprisals are expected. If everyone signs on then the revival could begin filming as soon as this summer once Grammer finished filming of his new untitled comedy series with Alec Baldwin for ABC.

Paramount+ is set to be launched on March 4th as it was formerly known as CBS All Access. How excited are you at the prospect of Kelsey Grammer returning in the role of Dr. Frasier Crane?
