Director Pasquale Marrazzo’s highly anticipated film “THE NEIGHBOR” is set to hit theaters on June 2, followed by a digital and DVD release on June 6. Distributed by Dark Star Pictures and Uncork’d Entertainment, this gripping drama has already garnered strong reviews from various film festivals, including OUTshine Miami FF and Out At the Movies. The film showcases exceptional performances by Michelle Costabile and Jacopo Costantini, accompanied by an evocative score by the acclaimed Italian composer Teho Teardo, known for his work on films like “House of Gucci” and “Il Divo.”

At its core, “THE NEIGHBOR” tells an intense love story between two young men that evolves from a harrowing incident they experience together. Following this life-altering event, nothing remains the same, and the love between the two men becomes a catalyst for exposing Luca’s parents’ deep-rooted hatred and intolerance towards their relationship.

For Director Pasquale Marrazzo, “THE NEIGHBOR” marks his fifth directorial venture, following his successful debut with “South of the Sun,” which premiered in the Discovery section of the Toronto International Film Festival back in 2001. With each film, Marrazzo has continued to explore captivating narratives and push boundaries, earning him recognition and acclaim in the industry.

“THE NEIGHBOR” promises to be a compelling and thought-provoking film that delves into themes of love, resilience, and the struggles faced by those who dare to challenge societal norms. Audiences can expect an emotionally charged experience that challenges preconceptions and highlights the power of love and acceptance.

As the release date draws near, moviegoers and film enthusiasts alike eagerly await the opportunity to witness the latest offering from the talented director, Pasquale Marrazzo. With its compelling performances, powerful storytelling, and a hauntingly beautiful score, “THE NEIGHBOR” is poised to captivate audiences and leave a lasting impression in the realm of independent cinema.
