In fact it is not only coming, it has been given release date of December 22, 2022. With that information in fan’s hip pockets, it has been debated who might also appear from the DC Universe in the sequel. According to Patrick Wilson, who played Arthur Curry’s half-brother King Orm, The Ocean Master will not be the main villain in the sequel, or any other DC film in the future. He offered this in a recent interview with SYFY Wire:
I don’t know what the future holds for Orm … You can’t kill him. He’s too important to [Arthur’s] journey … he’s a foil to [his character]. He’s not gonna be a main villain in another movie… I assume they’re gonna keep. him in some kind of jail below the surface. If he [Director James Wan] wants me back, I’m certainly happy to come back.
Are you disappointed that Orm will not be making an appearance in the Aquaman sequel? What would you like to see next for The Ocean Master? Share your insights with GVNation.
