Peacock Cancels ‘Brave New World’ – Will Be Shopped To Other Networks

Peacock has decided to cancel one of its original series. Brave New World is a show based on Aldous Huxley’s 1932 novel of the same name. The show, set in a dystopian future; starred Harry Lloyd, Jessica Brown Finley, Alden Ehrenreich, and Joseph Morgan.

According to reports, Universal Cable Productions will shop the series around to other outlets. As a fan of the show, I certainly hope it finds a home elsewhere.

Peacock gave a statement:

“There will not be Season 2 of Brave New World on Peacock. David Wiener created a thought-provoking and cinematic adaptation. We’re grateful to the cast and crew who brought this world to life. We look forward to telling more stories with David in the future.”

Season one left off on such a cliffhanger that it would be really upsetting to see it not get a second season. You can read my review of season one here.
