The casting news for the Addams Family spin-off series, Wednesday, is heating up. Wednesday is a one-hour mystery drama that follows the classic character Wednesday Addams at the Nevermore Academy. Tim Burton will serve as director.
Jenna Ortega has been set to star as Wednesday Addams, the daughter of the well-known pop culture couple Gomez and Morticia Addams. Now, we have learned that Percy Hynes White (The Gifted) is in talks to join Ortega.
According to our sources, Percy will be playing series regular Xavier. Xavier is described as a student at Nevermore Academy who has “preppy” and “artistic swagger”. Described as a charmer, he comes from a privileged background since his family is wealthy and his father is a celebrity. Xavier is apparently fascinated with Wednesday, although; the logline says she’s far less impressed with him.
Hynes played Andy Strucker on the Fox show, The Gifted.
