Video Quality
Preman: Silent Fury comes to Blu-Ray with a really great AVC encoded 1080p transfer in its original aspect ratio. This film has a natural color palette which has a vaguely warm tint which heightens the palpable tension just a bit further. The hues present within this one are quite impressive as they leap off the screen with an immediacy. Everything appears natural and quite vibrant when it comes to nature and elements of the clothing and production design. Black levels are mostly solid in their depth with only a little bit of banding in some darker scenes. The film showcases some striking cinematography which reveals impressive levels of detail throughout. Elements such as facial features and the textured blood on skin are effective. Most should be pleased by the work done with this one.
Audio Quality
The Blu-Ray disc comes with a strong DTS-HD 5.1 Master Audio presentation in the original Indonesian that handles the content incredibly well. There is also an English dub in the same format which we would avoid for artistic integrity. The track provides a fine level immersion into the story so that even the most discreet elements are represented. Directionality of sound is precise at every turn, and dialogue is reproduced with supreme clarity. Sounds are executed well during the more kinetic sequences, and rest assured you can feel every punch and kick land with a real weight. The brawls and other such kinetic moments provide a notable amount of activity in the low end. The audio presentation is a real winner overall. Optional English subtitles are provided.

Final Thoughts
Preman: Silent Fury is a very entertaining and emotionally effective action-drama which delivers some distinct characters who keep you hooked in this narrative. The pacing of this one is very strong without sacrificing character development or thrilling action set pieces. This one is far from a disposable entry into the genre. Well Go USA has released a Blu-Ray with a strong A/V presentation and almost nothing in the way of special features. If you are looking for some fun action with some emotional stakes, give this one a spin. Recommended
