After Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, what will be his tenth and final film? Will it be Kill Bill Vol. 3? I ask this because, during the Happy Sad Confused podcast, Tarantino revealed that he and actress Uma Thurman still talk about a potential third installment in the Kill Bill franchise.
“Me and Uma have talked about it recently, frankly, to tell you the truth. I have thought about it a little further. We were talking about it literally last week. If any of my movies were going to spring from my other movies, it would be a third ‘Kill Bill.’”
There is a lot that Tarantino can do with a third Kill Bill movie. In a previous statement, the director said that he felt that he gave all he had to give to movies. But, that he was planning on still writing books or even theater. So, will Kill Bill actually come back for a third movie or will this be a book perhaps? Tarantino says that he’s ready for retirement, but we don’t know if that will change down the line. We also don’t know what his tenth movie will be, as he’s already stated that Star Trek is the “loophole”.
