[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”29739″ img_size=”800×450″ alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]Quibi (an upcoming short-form mobile video platform) is remaking The Fugitive. And Kiefer Sutherland and Boyd Holbrook are starring in the remake of Harrison Ford’s 1993’s film. Which, was based on the 1960’s television show. Stephen Hopkins will direct the project and serve as the executive producer.

The Fugitive is about blue-collar worker Mike Russo, who tries to ensure his wife, Allison, and daughter, Pearl; are safe after a bomb goes off in an L.A. subway train. While Mike was simply in the wrong place at the wrong time, the world thinks he’s responsible for this. Mike is publically accused of this heinous act by the (as Deadline describes it) “tweet-now, confirm-later” journalism. Mike looks to find the real perpetrator in order to prove his innocence. Misinformation is heightened exponentially due to social media and Mike thus becomes, The Fugitive.

Sutherland and Holbrook will play new characters for the Quibi series. Sutherland will be Detective Clay Bryce, as Holbrook plays Mike Ferro.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
