Actress Rhona Mitra (The Strain) has been cast as Mercy Graves in the upcoming season for Supergirl according to Deadline. Mercy is the former bodyguard for Lex Luthor who is currently in prison. Also joining the cast is Robert Baker who will portray Mercy’s brother, Otis Graves. The last time we saw Mercy Graves on screen was 2016’s Batman v Superman and the role was played by Tao Okamoto.
Rhona isn’t the only newcomer to this season, actor Sam Witwer has been cast to play Agent Liberty and David Ajala has been cast as Manchester Black. Show regular Jeremy Jordan is going to only be on the show in a recurring capacity and Chris Wood leaving allows for others to fill those spots.
Mecy will not only be the former bodyguard for Lex but she will also be an agent for Cadmus labs. Her brother Otis will be her right hand man and will provide the muscle. Season 4 of Supergirl will also loosely base part of the season on the Superman elseworld comic, Red Son.
