Two men stand side by side in an industrial setting. The man on the left has long blond hair and a bushy beard, wearing a cardigan. The man on the right has shorter brown hair and is wearing a dark top.

Chris Hemsworth, best known for his iconic role as Thor in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. To commemorate the occasion, his longtime Avengers co-star Robert Downey Jr. celebrated by playfully roasting Hemsworth, much to the delight of the audience.

Downey, known for his wit and humor, asked their fellow Marvel cast members—Mark Ruffalo, Jeremy Renner, Scarlett Johansson, and Chris Evans—to describe Hemsworth in just three words. The responses were as entertaining as they were affectionate.

“What is Chris Hemsworth?” Downey posed to his friends. Renner was quick to reply with, “Absurdly, annoyingly amazing.” Ruffalo added a humorous touch with his choice, “Friend from work,” a nod to a famous line from “Thor: Ragnarok.” Johansson highlighted Hemsworth’s charming demeanor with “Sensitive leading lady.” Evans, always competitive, quipped that Hemsworth was the “Second best Chris.”

Concluding the roast, Downey shared his heartfelt sentiment, “There is no one who deserves it more. He is ‘Hollywood star recipient.’”

“He’s very elusive because of the pretty packaging. However, upon further inspection…down under…he has a true wit and depth of soul and it has been my sincere pleasure to know you. You keep us Hollywood folk on our toes because you’re just a real deal.”

The lighthearted banter among the Avengers cast underscored the camaraderie they share and added a memorable touch to Hemsworth’s special day. The ceremony not only celebrated Hemsworth’s achievements in Hollywood but also showcased the genuine friendships formed over years of working together in one of the most successful film franchises in history.
