In case anyone missed it, there are fans who would love a sequel to Alita Battle Angel. While that hasn’t happened as of yet, director Robert Rodriguez has found something else to fill his time. He has been pegged to direct an episode for Season 2 of Jon Favreau’s The Mandalorian.
As fans of the show know, Favreau selected a number of different season one directors for the Disney+ exclusive. Besides himself, he pegged such talents as Deborah Chow, Dave Filoni, Bryce Dallas Howard and Taika Waititi. So with Rodriguez experience with Alita, this will not be foreign to him.
After a successful season One, are you excited for season two of The Mandalorian? How do you think Rodriguez will handle Star Wars? Share your directorial critiques with us at Geek Vibes Nation.
