With the city on the brink of destruction, Oswald Cobblepot is planning to give the city one last push to expedite the carnage. With that as a premise, the Penguin is looking for “big things” this season, according to Robin Lord Taylor, who plays the familiar character.
Since filming began on Gotham Season 5, social media has been a buzz with cast and crew sharing plenty of cryptic photos. EP Danny Cannon, has been leading the charge including a shot of Penguin’s bust, painted on the side of a building. What he didn’t include was any caption or explanation to accompany the post.
Taylor later reposted the same photo on his own account, along with a short message to the fans about what’s ahead for his beloved character.
“Big things in store for our little bird,” Taylor explained.
Oswald Cobblepot was last seen in the Gotham Season 4 finale, as the city had just been largely evacuated and riots broke out.
