Are you a fan of Godzilla? King Kong? Big monsters in general? Well, be prepared for even more amazing content. FandomWire has reported that HBO Max is developing a Monarch show.
Monarch was introduced in the 2014 Godzilla movie and was founded in 1946 by President Harry S. Truman. The purpose of the organization was to investigate the sinking of the USS Lawton by a giant creator. Since then, it expanded into an international organization. In Godzilla lore, it was involved in the attempts to kill Godzilla in 1954. Pretty much, Monarch has deep ties to the MonsterVerse over at Legendary Pictures.
