Gina Carano was let go by Disney just the other week. Leaving The Mandalorian without a Cara Dune. There’s been rumors that they will recast and rumors that they won’t. Not only does this affect The Mandalorian, but the Rangers of the New Republic – which Cara Dune was supposed to be a part of.
Now we are hearing, via LRM Online; that Hera Syndulla will replace Cara Dune in Rangers of the New Republic. Syndulla first appeared in the animated show Star Wars Rebels. This wouldn’t be the first time a character from the animated Star Wars world would be brought into live-action. Both Ahsoka Tano and Bo-Katan Kryze got their starts in the animated continuum. And both appeared in the second season of The Mandalorian.
What do you think about the possibility that Hera Syndulla may appear in Rangers of the New Republic?
