According to Revenge of the Fans, there will be Easter eggs for Man of Steel, Batman v Superman, and Justice League. We’ve already seen that Shazam! is incredibly meta, so this doesn’t surprise me in the least.
Now, the site has revealed a rumor that John Glover, who played Lionel Luther in the hit TV show Smallville, may have some sort of role in the upcoming DC movie. Having the actor who played Lex Luthor’s father for seven seasons of a well-known/beloved show could not have been coincidental. There is no word as to who he would play, but with the way that Shazam! is going it seems that there could definitely be some sort of hint towards his previous role; or if anything, having the actor on screen is enough of an Easter Egg.
