It’s been a couple of years since the Defenders universe was canceled over at Marvel. It seemed, for us fans; that we would have to accept that we’d never see the perfect casting of the likes of Daredevil, Jessica Jones, and The Punisher again. However, now it seems like there’s rumors that we may see the likes of Jon Bernthal, Charlie Cox, and Krysten Ritter back.
The stipulation, though; is that these actors won’t be playing the Netflix versions of their characters. They’d instead be playing rebooted versions that fit into the MCU. THS is reporting that Marvel Studios is looking to bring back Charlie Cox, Jon Bernthal, Krysten Ritter, and Vincent D’Onofrio. That Hashtag Show reports that Luke Cage and Iron Fist may be recast.
It would be a shame to completely disregard all of the great character development from the Netflix shows, but hey – I’ll take back these great actors any way I can get.
