Fans have been wanting this character to appear in live-action form since the Netflix Marvel days. Now, fans will get it. Since Kevin Feige has said that the series on the streaming platform will be required viewing material for upcoming movies, a rumor suggests Moon Knight’s show will connect to the Blade movie.
Feige announced Mahershala Ali as the MCU’s Blade back at San Diego Comic-Con. Blade isn’t Phase 4 material, but Phase 5. Meaning, we will be waiting a while, but it’s good to know such a talented actor is locked in for a character that people have been wanting back on the big screen. So, with Moon Knight and Blade possibly intertwining in the MCU, it’s going to be everyone’s dreams coming true.
This isn’t unlike the Loki and WandaVision shows tying into the upcoming movie Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. Since the series will come out before the movies, it’s a perfect place to set up a backstory without having to cram everything into a movie.
