‘Savage X Fenty Show Vol. 3’ Review – A Sexy And Fun Inclusive Experience

It’s a whole vibe.

When you mix art, music, fashion, and Rihanna you get a sexy and fun inclusive experience. Not only does the lighting and camera work paired with the iconic architecture dazzle you, but the music and performances are dope. To top it off, in classic Savage X Fenty style, a multitude of races, ethnicities, genders, shapes, sizes, and aesthetics are highlighted. Moreover, besides what garment they may be wearing, no two models or dancers look the same. That’s something you can’t say for other fashion shows of this caliber. This is a celebration of differences and uniqueness, but simultaneously is a celebration of unity, culture, fearlessness, and confidence. I remember watching the Victoria’s Secret fashion show every year when I was younger and it just simply does not compare to what Rihanna has cultivated. The only standard of beauty that is being pushed here is one of self, feeling beautiful in your own skin.

Whether you’re covered in tattoos, piercings, have colorful hair, are missing limbs, are not the size or look that society says is preferred, or you look like you were sculpted by the gods, this special is a manicured middle finger to whatever the status quo is because we can all be sexy and are sexy to someone, especially if you’re draped in Savage X Fenty. I might have to order an item or two. The show features dope performances by Nas, Daddy Yankee, BIA, Jazmine Sullivan, Ricky Martin, Normani, and Jade Novah, and also features multiple smash hits from Busta Rhymes that really get the dancers in their zone. And the show wouldn’t be complete without a few special guests appearances from Adriana Lima, Alek Wek, Behati Prinsloo, Emily Ratajkowski, Erykah Badu, Gigi Hadid, Irina Shayk, Jeremy Pope, Leiomy, Lola Leon, Mena Massoud, Nyjah Huston, Precious Lee, Sabrina Carpenter, Thuso Mbedu, Troye Sivan, Vanessa Hudgens, and a legendary model that kickoffs the empowering show. This fun time prances by quicker than you’d think but no matter how many times you watch it, it’s going to be a good time. I really enjoyed Savage X Fenty Vol. 3, RiRi doesn’t miss. Its rewatchability is high.

Pop

It’s hard to pinpoint what specifically popped for me when the entire production was exceptional. But if you’re twisting my arm, I’d have to say the choreography. It is lively, it’s hip-hop, it’s for the culture, as is the majority of the show.

Final Thoughts

Lastly, I’m glad this celebration of culture, fashion, and inclusion exists. Until Vol. 1, I can’t recall anything like this existing but I think it’s necessary for all of us to see ourselves as sexy and beautiful, and this definitely reinforces that sentiment.

Savage X Fenty Show Vol. 3 will stream exclusively on Amazon Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide beginning Friday, September 24 and shoppable at Savage X Fenty and in the Amazon Fashion store.
