“I want to play a game”

We all know the famous quote that Jigsaw says in many of his recordings. It has become the iconic tagline of the films. If you have been a long time fan of the franchise, we are happy to announce that, as Bloody-Disgusting has reported, Lionsgate and Twisted Pictures are set to head into production on the billion dollar franchise. This will be the tenth film in the series, which is scheduled for release on October 27, 2023.

Director Kevin Greutert, who is a vet of the franchise; he directed Saw VI and Saw: The Final Chapter and edited Saw I through V as well as Jigsaw, will be coming back to helm the franchise forward once again.

As of now, Liongates and Twisted Pictures haven’t released any plot or characters, but we can be assured it will capture us once again, with a whole new twisted mind f*ck of a game we have to solve.

The franchise producers, Mark Burg and Oren Koules, said:

“We have been listening to what the fans have been asking for and are hard at work planning a movie that Saw aficionados and horror fans alike will love. And part of that is giving the reins to Kevin Greutert, director of Saw VI, which is still one of the fans’ favorites in the entire series. “

Stay tuned to Geek Vibes Nation as we learn more about the project.
