[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”18409″ img_size=”594×400″ alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]We have a new Scooby-Doo animated film coming our way, named Scoob; and the film has just found its Daphne and Fred!
According to Deadline, Zac Efron will voice Fred, while Amanda Seyfried will play the voice of Daphne! Scoob will be directed by Tony Cervone and this will be the first time since the 2004 live-action adaptation that we will see the beloved gang back again on screen. We can all admit that the Scooby Doo show and the special movies were all a part of our childhoods, so it’s great to see that a new generation will be able to enjoy the whacky shenanigans that these unconventional crime-solvers get themselves into.
Scoob will hit theaters in May of 2020 and will see the kids teaming up with other members of the Hanna-Barbera universe in order to take down the evil Dick Dastardly. Along with Efron and Seyfried, Will Forte will voice Shaggy, Gina Rodriguez will be Velma, Tracey Morgan as Captain Caveman, and Frank Welker will reprise his role as Scoob, having previously voiced the character in the 1969-1970 series, Scooby-Doo, Where Are you? A personal favorite of mine!
Are you excited for the new film? Let us know![/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
