To try to combat leaks and spoils, the people behind the fifth Scream have written up multiple different screenplays and edits. This is according to Bloody Disgusting. This is for the purpose of preventing the final product from being spoiled.
Scream 5 was filmed last fall and will hit theaters next year. This is the first Scream without Wes Craven and was directed by Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillet. Neve Campbell returns as Sidney Prescott, David Arquette makes his return as Dewey Riley, and Courteney Cox comes back as Gale Weathers.
