Scream Factory To Release The Original Home Invasion Favorite ‘The Strangers’ On 4K UHD Blu-Ray This September

Two women are in a dimly lit room with floral wallpaper. One wears a mask and holds a weapon, while the other appears startled and is reaching out. A wooden door is partially open behind them.

Scream Factory is bringing the Bryan Bertino home invasion film The Strangers to 4K UHD Blu-Ray in a new Collector’s Edition on September 10, 2024. The film follows a couple (portrayed by Liv Tyler and Scott Speedman) whose stay at a vacation home is disrupted by three masked intruders who infiltrate the home one night.

The new release is a 3-disc 4K UHD/ Blu-ray™ set containing several bonus features and thanks to a new 4K presentation of the unrated cut of the film from the original digital intermediate, the psychological horror flick looks better than ever before. Fans ordering from ShoutFactory.com will receive an exclusive 18″ X 24″ ROLLED POSTER featuring the original theatrical artwork, available while supplies last. Get more details below!

Synopsis: Explore your worst fears with this shocking suspense thriller inspired by disturbing true events. After a 4 a.m. knock at the door and a haunting voice, Kristen McKay (Liv Tyler, The Leftovers) and James Hoyt (Scott Speedman, Underworld) find that their remote getaway becomes a night of psychological terror as three masked strangers invade. Faced with inscrutable tormentors, Kristen and James must go beyond what they think they’re able to endure if they have any hope to survive.
