Sean Bean Spills The Beans About ‘Game of Thrones’ Reunion Show

Sean Bean started the ball rolling. It was his death as Eddard Stark that introduced audiences to the concept that NO ONE was safe in Game of Thrones. Now that he has been absent from the series for over 7 years, the idea of keeping a secret might have been a lost skill. This might explain why he decided to share that there was a cast reunion for Game of Thrones to celebrate the 8th and final season in Belfast. He let this information slip when talking to the Hollywood Reporter when asked if he had seen any of his former cast mates.

Nobody, nobody at all! I’ve only seen them on a couple of occasions,” Bean said with a laugh. “Last time, was about four weeks ago in Belfast. Conan O’Brien did this thing. It was the last episode, so we all got together. It was good! It’s funny with work, you don’t really keep in touch. You do so many types of jobs in that part of the world. It’s just like whenever I see old friends or even old drama school friends, it’s just the same, we pick up where we left off last time.

It probably shouldn’t come as a surprise that a special was filmed for the show’s final season and that they gathered everyone together for it. Game of Thrones has long been considered one of the greatest television shows made and certainly the most awarded. It also probably shouldn’t come as a surprise that Sean Bean “spilled the beans.” Didn’t his character in The Martian decide to tell the crew of the Ares III about Mark Watney’s plight on Mars despite being told not to. That Sean Bean guy just can’t help himself. Maybe we can talk Sean Bean into getting other cast members to loosen their lips?

With the final season of Game of Thrones sloooooowly winding its way toward us, how do you feel about a cast reunion with many of your past favorites? Share your thoughts with us at GVNation.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
