Second Official Trailer for ‘Queen & Slim’ Released

In our first article about the film, we mentioned the social commentary the film provides and this new trailer is no different. Mirroring a broken system within our own society, the trailer shows what the possible outcome of a situation with police that could’ve been diffused looks like. In this case, the situation is flipped and the civilians took an officer’s life instead of the other way around. Often times it’s said to be a life and death situation for the officers and split-second decisions are made. However, what about the life of the civilians? Starring a new Bonnie and Clyde, Daniel Kaluuya (Get Out) and Jodie Turner-Smith. Although, this fugitive story unfolds into a love story.
