She-Hulk Disney+ Series Character Details Revealed

A new report from The Illuminerdi has shed some light on the upcoming She-Hulk Disney+ series. The She-Hulk series in pre-production and will most likely shoot in the second half of this year. Emmy winner Jessica Gao has been brought in as the screenwriter. Also, casting has begun for Jennifer Walters. Marvel is looking for an actress with a comedic background, around 26 to 34 years old. The casting is open to all races.

The sources also say that She-Hulk’s origins will be pretty close to the comic books. Which, makes sense, considering Kevin Feige is in charge of everything and is a good Marvel fan. According to the character description, Jennifer will be a lawyer who gains her super powers after receiving a blood transfusion from her cousin Bruce Banner (could we be seeing Mark Ruffalo in a cameo?) after a gun shot wound. The character description even says that Jennifer will be a future member of the Avengers. Exciting!

Mark Ruffalo is not confirmed for the series but that could be a little secret that Marvel is keeping. Currently She-Hulk is planned for a July – December production schedule in Atlanta, GA but that could change. (The Illuminerdi says it is filming from August – March)
