Solo: A Star Wars Story’s Soundtrack Disqualified from Oscars

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”11557″ img_size=”980×490″ alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]As the Academy is considering movies for various categories, it seems that Solo” A Star Wars Story has been disqualified for the Best Original Song and Best Original Score categories. The reasoning not being for a lack of talent, but simply because the submission was sent in too late, not meeting the November 15^th deadline.

Green Book, Mandy, and The Other Side of the Wind have all been rejected as well. As far as the Academy scoring, this will be wrapped up on Tuesday and a shortlist set of the picks will be revealed on December 17^th.
