[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”11557″ img_size=”980×490″ alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]As the Academy is considering movies for various categories, it seems that Solo” A Star Wars Story has been disqualified for the Best Original Song and Best Original Score categories. The reasoning not being for a lack of talent, but simply because the submission was sent in too late, not meeting the November 15th deadline.
Green Book, Mandy, and The Other Side of the Wind have all been rejected as well. As far as the Academy scoring, this will be wrapped up on Tuesday and a shortlist set of the picks will be revealed on December 17th.
What do you think about Solo: A Star Wars Story being disqualified? Have you seen the latest film in the Star Wars saga?
