Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has announced that the legacy sequel Karate Kid: Legends from director Jonathan Entwistle will debut on 4K UHD Blu-Ray, Blu-Ray, and DVD on August 26, 2025. The film is currently available on digital platforms. It stars Ben Wang, Joshua Jackson, Sadie Stanley, and Ming-Na Wen. The film will also be available in a limited edition 4K UHD + Blu-Ray SteelBook and on 4K UHD bundled with a collectible skateboard available exclusively at Wal-Mart.
Also available on the same day, fans of the franchise will cheer the release of the 4K UHD + Blu-Ray 6-Movie Collection. This Amazon-exclusive limited edition includes all 6 Karate Kid films on 4K UHD, Blu-ray and digital, hours of new and archival special features—including the complete 1989 animated television series (in SD) – and exclusive collectibles, all within unique pop-up packaging with movie sound chip. Synopsis: Karate Kid: Legends unites the iconic martial arts masters of one of the most beloved film franchises of all time to tell a completely new story full of action and heart. When kung fu prodigy Li Fong (Ben Wang) relocates to New York City with his mother to attend a prestigious new school, he finds solace in a new friendship with a classmate and her father. But his newfound peace is short-lived after he attracts unwanted attention from a formidable local karate champion.
