Soprano’s Prequel Movie Adds Jon Bernthal and Vera Farmiga

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”13426″ img_size=”800×450″ alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]The Sopranos was one of the most popular shows of all time to hit HBO and now with a prequel movie in the works, it’s time to get more excited since two big names in the acting world have been added to The Many Saints of Newark. Jon Bernthal and Vera Farmiga have officially joined the prequel movie in undisclosed roles; even the plotline is relatively vague, although we know this will take place during the Newark riots in the 60s.

On top of Bernthal and Farmiga, Alessandro Nivola will be playing Dickie Moltisanti.

Bernthal’s second season of The Punisher hits Netflix this Friday and while the future of the Marvel shows that remain is in question, Bernthal surely isn’t lacking for work. His next movie will be the indie film Peanut Butter Falcon alongside Fury co-star Shia LaBeouf, and Bernthal will be playing Lee Lacocca in Ford vs. Ferrari.

Are you looking forward to the Sopranos sequel movie? And does Bernthal’s inclusion makes it all the better?
