Video Quality
South Park: The Streaming Wars arrives on Blu-Ray with a great transfer that is as vivid and deftly produced as you have come to expect from the series. The modern era of the series has maintained its aesthetic, and it is executed well here. The colors are impressive and bold throughout these two episodes, and the transfer displays as much detail in the animation as the production style allows. The thick lines and details are crisp and maintained well without any bleeding into other segments of the screen. This fetching presentation is free of dirt, debris, or damage. There is a slight issue with banding in the background, but it is not a consistent issue. South Park continues to churn out top-notch Blu-Ray presentations.
Audio Quality
The Blu-Ray comes with a great Dolby TrueHD 5.1 soundtrack that nails the sonic ambition of this outing. Dialogue is the focus here with a clear presentation anchored in the center speaker that sleeks into surrounds during key sequences. There is a plethora of environmental sound effects throughout the town that make the soundscape more exciting. Music is robust with excellent fidelity and stings complementing certain scenes in the rear channels. It is unlikely that any fans will be disappointed by the experience with this one.

Final Thoughts
South Park: The Streaming Wars stands confidently next to other notable specials from the long-running comedy series from over the years. The work from Matt Stone, Trey Parker, and their team continues to find hilarious ways to skewer modern culture in a way that makes most sides at least a bit uncomfortable. There are signs of fatigue after so many years, but the amount of boisterous laughter this still elicits is a rare gift. Paramount Home Entertainment has released this latest special on Blu-Ray with a fine A/V presentation but nothing in the way of special features. Fans of the series should pick this up with confidence. Recommended
South Park: The Streaming Wars is available to purchase on Blu-Ray and DVD.
