    Dynamite’s ‘Space Ghost Vol. 2 #10’

Space Ghost Vol. 2 #10 keeps Dynamite’s revival firing on all cylinders, delivering an issue that balances cosmic spectacle with the grounded emotional beats that have quietly become this run’s secret weapon. What could’ve been a nostalgia‑only exercise continues to evolve into a series with real teeth — and this chapter is a perfect example of how to honor a legacy character while still pushing him into new territory…and new peril.

    The Saga

The creative team continues to lean into the tension between myth and man. Space Ghost isn’t just a stoic cosmic avenger here; he’s a figure wrestling with the weight of responsibility, the fragility of trust, and the consequences of a universe that never stops demanding more from him. This is even more apparent in this seemingly never-ending battle with Tempus, the Time Master. Issue #10 sharpens that internal conflict, especially as the stakes around him, Jan, and Jace escalate. Their dynamic with Space Ghost remains one of the book’s strongest anchors, and this issue gives them moments that feel earned rather than obligatory and a villain that more than holds his own in the drama.

Comic book cover of Space Ghost issue #10 shows the superhero in a white suit with a cape, fists glowing with energy, against a dynamic, colorful background.

    Visuals

Visually, the book continues to pop. Jonathan Lau delivers the kind of widescreen cosmic action that feels tailor‑made for Space Ghost — energy blasts, star‑field chases, and villain designs that hit that sweet spot between retro and modern. But it’s the quieter panels that land hardest: the shadows, the close‑ups, the emotional beats that remind you this isn’t just a hero punching his way through the galaxy. It captures moments heavy with consequences and showcases a flawless collaboration between the artist and the writer.

    Narrative

Narratively, Issue #10 is a time-twisting pivot point. It tightens the overarching plot, raises the emotional stakes, and sets the board for “future” events that feel like they’re going to matter. With all the twists and turns that time manipulation can bring, there’s momentum here — not just plot movement, but thematic weight.  With each passing issue, it’s clear the creative team knows exactly where they’re steering (or perhaps crashing) this ship. I can’t wait to see where we go from here.

A chaotic battle scene at Omegan Prison with armored heroes and villains fighting amidst explosions and energy blasts; characters exchange urgent dialogue about preventing an escape.

    Bottom Line:

Space Ghost Vol. 2 #10 is confident, stylish, and surprisingly character‑driven. It’s the kind of issue that rewards longtime fans while giving new readers something substantial to latch onto and a villain that truly puts the heroes through their paces. If this volume sticks the landing, as I know it will, Space Ghost might stand as one of the most successful modern reinventions of a classic hero — and Issue #10 is a big example of why. It is a sharp, high‑velocity chapter that continues to prove why this revival works!
