SpongeBob SquarePants continues to bring joy to children of all ages and the story of SpongeBob doesn’t seem to be ending anytime soon. Nickelodeon is extending its three-series franchise with a combined order of 52 episodes. This also includes a season two renewal for Kamp Koral. This includes a 13-episode season thirteen back-order for the original SpongeBob show. And thirteen episodes added to the spinoff series – The Patrick Star Show.

We frequently talk about animated shows like The Simpsons and South Park as long running, but SpongeBob SquarePants has been on TV since July 17, 1999.
