As of right now, we do not know who she will be playing, so fans can have fun speculating with that because I know I will.
Along with Gina Carano being in The Mandalorian, they are also in negotiations with Pedro Pascal according to Variety
“After the stories of Jango and Boba Fett, another warrior emerges in the Star Wars universe. The Mandalorian is set after the fall of the Empire and before the emergence of the First Order. We follow the travails of a lone gunfighter in the outer reaches of the galaxy far from the authority of the New Republic….
Dave Filoni Will direct the first episode of this new series then the others will follow. Bryce Dallas Howard, Taika Waititi, who directed Thor Ragnorok, Rick Famuyiwa, who directed Dope and Deborah Chow, who directed Jessica Jones and Better Call Saul will all direct episodes of the series.
