STARZ Is Bringing ‘American Gods’ To NYCC!

Are you a fan of Starz’s American Gods? Of Neil Gaiman? Last question, are you going to New York Comic Con? If you said yes to all three, you are in luck. American Gods will make its NYCC debut on Friday, October 5th from 1:30–2:30PM at the Hammerstein Ballroom at the Manhattan Center. This is marking Gaiman’s long-awaited return and is a treat for anyone who is a fan of both his books and the show. You will get a chance to see some of your favorite cast members as they dish about what we’ve seen and what to expect.

If we remember what happened in season one’s finale; Mr. Wednesday started a war with the New Gods, employing Ostara to literally rip the Spring away until people pray to them. Gillian Anderson, who played Media; and Kristin Chenoweth, who played Easter; will not be returning to the second season. Still, we will see all the familiar faces and new ones come together for an epic showdown, which I am sure will ultimately be at humanity’s expense; as Mad Sweeney says, “the gods f*ck with us. It’s what they do.”

How excited are you for this news? I sure am! Make sure you follow @AmericanGodsSTZ and @STARZ on Twitter to join the conversation with #AmericanGods.
