[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”15178″ img_size=”825×464″ alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]Dark Tower is a series of books written by the great Stephen King about a young boy from a long line of gunslingers named Roland Deschain, which will now be produced as a series on Amazon Prime. The upcoming show will consist of thirteen episodes, each an hour long, and will be produced by the likes of Glen Mazzara, Akiva Goldsman, and King himself.
Other characters to be included are Cuthbert Allgood, Alain Johns, Ileen Ritter, and Jamie De Curry along with his girlfriend Susan Delgado. Amazon Studios is currently seeking actors and actresses around the ages of 16 and 18 to fill these roles. Marten Broadcloak will be the series antagonist, whose affair with Roland’s mother will really weigh heavy on the plot. Due to this affair with Gabrielle, Roland will have to pick up his guns in search for him, along with his father Steven. There’s been no casting yet, but it’s expected to be picked up soon.
