Carell will also be brought on for an untitled series on Apple, which will center around the men and women who help Americans wake up in the morning during their daily televised ritual. No, this is not Anchorman, but the actor will be playing Mitch Kessler, who is a morning show anchor, struggling to remain relevant in the ever-changing media world.
The untitled series is written by Kerry Ehrin, which is based on an original idea by Media Res’ Michael Ellenberg and will be directed by Mimi Leder. Carell will be joined by Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
