Stranger Things Producer Promises Season Four is Coming Soon

I think I speak for everyone when I say that we all want season four of Netflix’s Stranger Things. And those behind the hit streaming show know that fans are incredibly anxious to see more of the adventures of the Hawkins residents.

Producer Shawn Levy expressed:

“To state the incredibly obvious, it’s been way, way, way, way too long, and it’s coming.”

Levy continued:

“I shot in Lithuania right before the pandemic. We have filmed in Georgia, Lithuania and New Mexico, so suffice to say Season 4 is sprawling. It’s visually and narratively very ambitious, much more ambitious than the prior three seasons.”

“The delay is due in large measure to COVID and the pace at which we have to work to do so safely, but it also happens to be the season that we chose to go much bigger. It’s the scale of this season and the multi-settings of Season 4.”

As a reminder, season three ended with a bang. Not only did we think David Harbour’s Jim Hopper was dead (he later was revealed to be alive in a season four teaser), but Joyce and her family moved away from Hawkins. So, what’s to happen in season four with the Byers family away from Hawkins and Hopper trapped in a Russian labor camp? We’ll have to wait to find out!
