[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]If you’re a fan of Netflix’s Stranger Things, you know that despite having a cast full of children, there are plenty of dark themes to the show. In the first season, we had to deal with the disappearance of one child and the death of a teenager. In the second season, it felt very possible that Will Byers (Noah Schnapp) would be too far gone. So, how is the third season going to be able to top the heart-pounding, powerful episodes we’ve seen so far?
According to producer Shawn Levy, season three is darker than anyone expected. While Stranger Things season three’s release was delayed, Levy still offered some insight on what we can expect.
“But I can only promise you that season 3 eventually goes places that are darker, and unquestionably more action-packed, than we’ve ever gone before … It would be a mistake for anyone to think that season 3 is the summer of fun and lightness because it’s a whole lot more than that.”
Levy’s comments come after a teaser video was released that took place in Starcourt Mall, during the summer. Despite the cheery infomercial, we shouldn’t expect a lighter version of what we’ve seen so far. Whenever Stranger Things does premiere, it’ll be some of the best content on Netflix as it has been.[/vc_column_text][vc_video link=”https://youtu.be/aXyju7zFwyE” align=”center”][/vc_column][/vc_row]
