Animation usually wins at their DC movies and it looks like Superman: Red Son will be no different. According to a rundown of the voice actors, it looks like 2020’s upcoming film will be filled with big names that we already have loved in previous features.
Superman: Red Son is an adaptation of Mark Millar’s 2003 Elseworlds tale, which asked:
“What if Superman had been raised in the Soviet Union?”
Star Trek: Discovery’s Jason Isaacs will voice Kal-El, as American Housewife’s Diedrich Bader will voice Lex Luthor. The Gifted and Angel alum Amy Acker is Lois Lane and Star Wars Rebels’ Vanessa Marshall is Wonder Woman. Doom Patrol’s Phil Morris is James Olsen. The DC movie will also star Jason O’Mara and Jennifer Morrison. Paul Williams joins as Brainiac. Sasha Roiz will be Hal Jordan and Phil LaMarr will voice John Stewart.
Ready for some more? Roger Craig Smith returns to voice Batman and Jim Meskimen and Travis Willingham are John F. Kennedy and Superior Man. We then have Williams Salyers as Joseph Stalin and Winter Ave Zoli as Svetlana.
Superman: Red Son is directed by Sam Liu and J.M. DeMatteis penned the scripted. You can grab yourself a copy in the first quarter of 2020.
