The role of Princess Diana for the final two seasons of Netflix’s The Crown has been cast. Revealed on Twitter, Australian actress Elizabeth Debicki will play the royal icon in seasons five and six.
The Crown is excited to return in 2022. Throughout its series, The Crown has had a rotating cast. The drama centers around the Queen Elizabeth II’s life from the 1940s to modern day. While Claire Foy previously played the character, Olivia Colman has since taken over. To obviously reflect the changes in age as the story progresses.
