Graveface Distribution and beloved boutique label Terror Vision have announced the initial details for their brand-new Graveface Films imprint. In addition to releasing obscure movie soundtracks on vinyl and operating a physical store in Savannah, Georgia, Terror Vision has been horrifying audiences for years with a selection of boundary-pushing genre films allowing unearthed genre gems from decades past and contemporary oddities to find new life on physical media.

Graveface Films is intended to highlight more arthouse, indie, and non-genre films. Given the care that they put forth in their horror-centric release, this development could not be more welcome news. The news was detailed in their YouTube live stream over the weekend with the Junta Yamaguchi title River announced as their first title being released in March. We were a big fan of the director’s previous effort, Beyond The Infinite Two Minutes, and we are counting the days until we can get our hands on this one. This Blu-Ray release comes packed with features including an hour-long making-of featurette, a commentary track, and more. Get the full details below!

Anyone who is familiar with Terror Vision probably knows they have a subscription program for fans who do not want to miss a single thing they are releasing – and getting a discount and other benefits while doing so. Existing Terror Vision subscribers will be able to add the new Graveface Films titles to their their subscription at a discounted price, but they, along with newcomers, can also subscribe to the Graveface Video Club separately if they want an exclusive Graveface t-shirt. There are a few different consumer-friendly options that have been made available.

Finally, while a few hints were dropped for upcoming Graveface Films releases during the live stream, the biggest news was confirmation that Big Top Pee Wee would be arriving on 4K UHD Blu-Ray later this year. Considering that the film has yet to even be released on Blu-Ray, this is huge news. Exact details on supplements appear to be in the planning stages, but it sounds like fans are going to be in for a treat when this one gets released. Until then, get the details on the first release under this new imprint below:

Synopsis: River follows some staff and guests that are staying at an Inn in Kibune Kyoto in Japan. The guests and staff are all enjoying their time at this beautiful vacation spot, but they get pulled and trapped into a time loop. Junta Yamaguchi (Beyond The Infinite Two Minutes) delivers another delightful, funny, and heartwarming story about people and time travel. River is a refreshing take on the time travel scenario delivering unexpectedness and laughs along the way.
