Tessa Thompson to Voice Lady in ‘Lady and the Tramp’

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”2690″ img_size=”768×433″ alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]There is no denying that Tessa Thompson is an icon right now. From her role as Charlotte Hale in Westworld, Valkyrie in Thor: Ragnarok, Bianca Porter in Creed I and II, Detroit in Sorry to Bother You, and her upcoming role as Agent M in the Men in Black movie, Thompson is huge. You get that. And you want her to keep succeeding because Thompson makes every movie and TV show she’s in better. Here’s an honorable mention, she’s fantastic across from Alexander Skarsgard in War on Everyone on Netflix and even though Annihilation was most likely the weirdest movie I’ve ever seen, having Tessa there made it all better.

Joining another MCU star Benedict Wong (as Bull), Thompson will lend her voice as Lady in the Lady and the Tramp in the live-action/CG remake of the class Disney film. Justin Theroux will voice Tramp, a “mongrel” dog (although we can all agree all dogs are adorable and precious) and during the movie, becomes famously and romantically entangled with an upper-middle-class cocker spaniel named Lady (Thompson). Charlie Bean will be directing the film, Andrew Bujalski wrote the script, and Brigham Taylor is producing the film.

How excited are you to see Tessa Thompson in the reboot of a childhood favorite?
