The 100 To Get a Prequel Series from The CW

While The 100 is about a century after a nuclear war pretty much got rid of most humans, the pilot will be a prequel. To be accurate, it will be set 97 years prior to the original series.

In the prequel series, we will see the end of the world right as it happened. We will follow the survivors who have to learn to deal with the dangers that come from right after a nuclear war. According to sources, series creator Jason Rothenberg will be the executive producer alongside Leslie Morgenstein and Gina Girolamo.

Rothenberg will also write the pilot episode’s script.
