The Amazing Spider-Man Director Marc Webb Eyed to Direct Live-Action Snow White Movie

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”23225″ img_size=”800×450″ alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]Snow White is getting the remake/live-adaptation treatment it seems that Marc Webb is in talks to direct the upcoming Disney film. Variety states that the deal is not final, but that the director is the top choice for it. Along with Webb, Erin Cressida Wilson is currently in negotiations for the script – Wilson was the screenwriter for The Girl on the Train.

The live-adaptation Snow White film will expand on the story and music from the original animated classic which was released in 1938. Marc Platt is already on board to produce the movie while Benj Pasek and Justin Paul will write new songs. Snow White was Disney’s inaugural animated feature film and is probably one of the most popular Disney movies of all time, which was based on the Brothers Grimm fairytale.

Along with Dumbo, Aladdin, and The Lion King, Disney is also looking to come out with a Cruella De Vil film starring Emma Stone. Webb is best known for directing The Amazing Spider-Man films and it’ll be interesting to see what he does with Snow White.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
